The Industry-Led Association for Fusion Energy in Europe
Europe is moving fast on nuclear fusion, and now is the time to work together. Across the world, investments in fusion technologies are growing, new pilot plants are being planned or built, and collaborations between industry and research organisations are expanding.
The Industry-Led Association for Fusion Energy in Europe (FUSION NOW AISBL) was established in summer 2025 to bring together companies, SMEs, start-ups, investors, research organisations, universities, and other stakeholders. Its purpose is to support the development of fusion technologies and strengthen Europe’s leadership in this emerging energy sector.
- Shape the Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for fusion energy in Europe.
- Engage in a European Partnership co-programmed with the European Commission.
- Ensuring that industry priorities are reflected in European strategic programming and funding opportunities.
- Enable collaboration across the value chain through the European Fusion Stakeholders Platform (EFSP).
- Unlock new funding pathways by promoting the development of co-funded projects, demonstrators, and supply-chain initiatives.
